Okay, well, am I surprised that the tappers were let go? No. Sad? At first no. Bianca was cute and fun, but whatever. As for Phillip, I was not upset to see him and his annoying nose go home. But then he said that thing about his dad and that just about broke my heart.
As for the rest… I still love Krumpy. But I’m scared his partner is going to eff everything up for him. I loved the Wade routine. I still can’t complain about The Husband and Ellenor but I will continue to complain loudly about The Wife. I HATE that the jidges are starting to like her. The Canadian Mia contemporary routine was awesome and I was proud of weepy Legacy. The 12-year-olds and their Indian business was alright, I guess. Kevin is really growing on me but I feel so bad because of how The Argentinian is always making Adam almost straight. Because Kevin is GOOD and did really well with his hippy hop. OH! And OMG. How could I forget Victor and his unitard?! Whoa. WHOA.
I was a little sad about Bianca but Phillip’s body seemed to be in a perpetual “tap crouch” that I found really distracting. And his lifts were Terrible. Double up: Terrible, Terrible.
The Tookster’s fear routine was v. cool. I did think it was a little insulting that the judges told Legacy that now he’s “dancing”. I guess as opposed to doing tricks? I just felt like it was a little condescending to the more street styles. Cuz I’m keepin’ it real.
I did like that the first couple weeks individuals were selected to be in the bottom two and not couples. I always thought it was weird when a couple would end up in the bottom week after week when it was pretty obviously due to one partner.
